This is my personal review and real life demonstration of the stearns puddle jumper toddler floaty. I have tried so many life jackets and flotation devices for my kids over the years and this is my absolute favorite! Other floaties don’t seem to support them enough, regular life jackets ride up to their chin and they easily get stuck on their stomach or back unable to figure out or have the strength to flip over. You can see how comfortable my 2 year old is with this device and how obviously comfortable I feel with her wearing it. And it’s US coast guard approved! I wish I had found these when my almost 12 year old was little!
What I love about this:
♥ It’s not inflatable: I despise having to constantly reinflate floaties and then they get leaks and holes and stop working. They are also usually something the child has to sit inside meaning they are not free to play and move around and could possibly tip over.
♥ It’s USCG (United States Coast Guard) Approved. It is, in every sense of the word, a life jacket and safe and approved for boat use.
♥ It’s well made.
♥ It’s made in the USA
♥ It stays put without the need for that awkward and uncomfortable crotch strap most kids life jackets have. No shifting, no riding up.
♥ My child can comfortably play out of the water (such as on the beach) while wearing it. She was digging in the sand and running around with no problems.
♥ It’s easy to put on and take off unlike typical life jackets with multiple straps and/or zippers or inflatable arm floaties.
♥ Reasonably priced. You can follow any of the ad links below and find them for around $20-$30 in tons of different colors and designs.
